SkillsUSA is a national organization in the United States that focuses on developing leadership and technical skills in students pursuing careers in trade, technical, and skilled service occupations. About The Westminster High School SkillsUSA Chapter:
Westminster High School’s SkillsUSA Chapter, established in 2017 as part of the Information Technology Pathway, has rapidly evolved into a dynamic force within the school’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. What began as a focused initiative has now expanded its reach, encompassing a total of five pathways from the school’s comprehensive CTE program: Aerospace Engineering, Construction, Video Cinema Arts, and Cyber Technology. This growth reflects the chapter’s commitment to providing diverse opportunities for students to excel in various skill-based fields, preparing them for successful futures in their chosen careers.
The chapter’s journey has been marked by continuous dedication to skill development, leadership training, and community engagement. Students within Westminster High School’s SkillsUSA Chapter not only participate in competitions and workshops but also contribute to the broader educational environment, showcasing their talents and fostering a spirit of collaboration.
